The May Ellis Park is located in Wimer, Oregon next to Evans Creek and the Wimer Covered Bridge.

The May Ellis Park was established by May Ellis. The park is a public open space, wildlife preserve and nature area and is intended to be used for passive recreational activities such as walking trails and bird watching. The park property is in its natural state.

To ensure permanency of the Park for the benefit of present and future generations, the daughters of May Ellis and her grandchildren established the May Ellis Park Trust to hold title to the park property in perpetuity.
