The May Ellis Park is located in Wimer, Oregon next to Evans Creek and the Wimer Covered Bridge.

The May Ellis Park was established by May Ellis to be used in perpetuity as a public open space, wildlife preserve, nature area, and passive recreational use such as walking trails and bird watching. The park property is in its natural state.

To ensure permanency of the Park for the benefit of present and future generations, the Ellis Family established the May Ellis Park Trust to hold title to the park property, and to help re-establish the park in partnership with the community.
